This light is designed to work with a 12 volt power supply. You can use it for your computer or your vehicle. If using for your vehicle, simply cut off the two wires (red/black or yellow/black) entering into the computer plug. Hardwire to a 12 volt power supply in your vehicle.
- For hardwiring in a vehicle, the best place to find the power source is connecting directly to the fuse box.
- Another location is the negative and positive wire that come into the back of your cigarette lighter from behind the dash.
- Or, you can purchase a cigarette lighter adapter and connect to that.
