But with emerging technology leds have been used for the tail light. It’s a very simple concept; replace leds in the same housing as a normal 1157 bulb, or any other type such as 3157. Some have used 5mm leds in their bulbs but our new high tech version uses 13 leds in each housing. The leds are not normal type but flat faced wide angle. This 360 coverage will light up the complete internal housing reflectors giving a nice output seen during the day. Some other types use poor leds shooting in the same direction which make it hard for you to see if the light is even on during the day. Installation of LED Tail & Brake lights can take 20-30 minutes depending on how difficult it is to reach the area
