Comes with two 35Watt / 30 Amp Relays. When HID ignites, for the first 5 seconds during power up, HID system can draw up to double the normal power, to ignite, the ignitor. As the HID capsule warms up, the current drops down to 35w by powering the ballast and xenon bulbs through a harness relay directly from the battery. With ballast or xenon bulbs, the high current is reduced. A relay acts as an on/off switch.This ensures that you\'re not over-loading your harness.
Includes: One headlight wiring harness and two relays. 14 gauge wire, no fuse (you can add one of your own if you like.
HARNESS INSTALLATION
1. Plug the harness into one side of your vehicle’s factory harness that normally attaches to your headlights.
2. Connect the relay to the harness plug.
3. Connect all the black wires to a ground (body of vehicle).
4. Connect the red wires to the positive side of the battery.
5. Attach to the headlights, or if using HID, attach to your ballast.
